My dad is being transferred to William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, as I write this to have his aortic valve opened up until he can get it replaced at a hospital in Cleveland where the doctors are the experts on this type of surgery. My dad's chest will not be able to be opened due to his arthritic condition so they will be going through the groin. The doctor said it is his only chance for survival because his lungs are backing up with fluid because the valve is not working at all.
I am at peace with this and it is great because my in-laws have told me the hospital is 20 minutes from their house and I can pack up the kids and leave them there and they will also be able to visit with "Pop" and be with me and Tito.

I'm so sorry to hear about you dad. I have not updated through your blog in a long time and I feel really sad about it. I love your Mom and Dad dearly. Please tell them that everyone is praying. I have told my mom and dad to place him on their prayer chain also. Blessings to everyone and I pray that the surgery goes well.
