Making A Gingerbread House

The kids have been wanting to make a gingerbread house and the one's I saw at Meijer were $20. When I was at Michael's I found one for $9.99 which actually ended up being $7.99 so I bought it and tonight the kids and I with Tito decorated the gingerbread house. The kids had a blast and so did Tito and I. The kids are eating it as we speak but they made sure to let mom get her pics first.

Would you mind if I had a bite. Seriously, I promise, just one bite. It looks sooooo good!

BTW, about your comment: I have found so many of my decorating knickknack items at thrift stores, or garage sales.

I just look at magazines for ideas, then try and see what's out there that I can buy. So much cheaper at Goodwill!

It really looks so pretty and almost too nice to actually eat. But I'm sure it will taste good. It looks like it was a fun activity for your family to do together ...which is a good thing!

I used to love snow storms when I was little and they cancelled school. We don't have to cancel school because we homeschool but I've been known to do it on occasion of a snow day!
