You are all correct, those are my beautiful parents. I am asking you pray for me today. I am going to go see my dad and I have been given permission to visit him at non visiting hours at the hospital. I want to have a heart to heart talk with him about his depression and his sadness. My dad has served the Lord all of his life and this is an attack of the enemy and I feel God has put some words in my heart that I need to tell him. I am very nervous but I know the Holy Spirit will be with me and that the Holy Spirit is prompting me to go because if it were not the Holy Spirit I was feeling I would not feel as adamant as I do.

Lisa, your dad probably needs a gentle reminder from his loving daughter. I know the Lord will use you and give you the right words. I'll be praying for you.

Heavenly Father,

I come before You with my heart so grateful that you are our God and there is none beside you. Hallelujah! I lift up Lisa before you and her Dad and I thank You Abba that You have already given her the words to speak life into her Dad in Jesus Name. I pray for Your peace, wisdom and comfort for both Lisa and her Dad. Holy Spirit thank You for leading Lisa in the truth of Christ and bring to her remembrance all the Words of Christ to speak to her Dad. I pray in Jesus Name for her Dad to be receptive and his heart to be open to what is spoken so sweetly and truthfully into his heart.

Thank You GOD for all that You mean to us and for all the many ways You show us Your divine love, faithfulness and mercy. May You be glorified in this situation and may Lisa and her Dad be blessed. With hearts of great love, gratitude and praise we thank You and we pray in the precious and everlasting Name of our Lord Jesus. Amen! Amen! Amen.

Lisa, I remain in prayer throughout the day today as I lift up the needs of many. You are in my heart. I love you.

Hi Lisa! Not sure if you have already spoken to him, but I'll be praying that his heart is softened to what you want to share with him. Praying that he just hears from the Holy Spirit!!

Love you, Lisa!

I so understand where you are. Daddy asked to go in the Nursing Home on Monday. I thought my heart would break. He told me today how truly miserable he is. Like your dad...he is a wonderful Christian father and was strong, decisive, my rock. Depression is a terrible thing for an elderly person.
You are in my prayers and keep me in your's.
