It was Adrienne's 14th birthday on March 2. 2009. When I held her in my arms 14 years ago and would have been told me she was going to play hockey, I would have said, "No Way, not my baby girl".
Hockey is my all time favorite sport and to see her play and score....well let's just say I have a whole new respect for her.
Grandma and Grandpa are so proud of you Adrienne and I heard Grandma telling Grandpa tonight how she wished they were well enough to come to your state championship games tomorrow-- I wanted to cry....you will be in there thoughts I know that!
Today the Michigan Capitals won their game against the Rochester Rattlers 9 to 0. Adrienne scored with a wrap around from behind the net. They are well on their way to being the Champions, tomorrow we have a long day of two hockey games in Rochester so we will be out there all day....what makes it so hard is that is my dad's hometown...how I would love to take my parents to this game. I am so sad.
