THANKFUL THURSDAY- CHANGE

I had to stop and think a minute about the changes in my life and it did not take me long to see where I have made some definite improvements in my life because of the ability to change. How horrible it would be to be stuck in the same rut without the ability, diligence and strength God gives us to make those changes in our lives that are so important to maintain our fruits of the Spirit and our relationship with Him.

I have recently changed my lifestyle in the way of eating and exercising, watching everything that goes into my temple and making sure it will strengthen my body to be able to be the person God wants me to be. Also, exercise has become a DAILY routine that also gives me self confidence and feeling of health making me a happier individual allowing me to be more compassionate with other people and my family.

My spending habits have changed, I am studying Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover and I am achieving the Baby Steps to Financial Peace. We have made a commitment to God that we will tithe even if it looks like we won't be able to pay all the bills. We have faith He will meet all our needs, for the birds do not worry about what they will eat or drink and He feeds them, so how much more important to our Heavenly Father are we, His children. "God loves a cheerful giver, whoever sows sparingly, will also reap sparingly whoever sows generously will also reap generously." 2 Corinthians 9:7

I have also made it a point to get alone with God on a daily basis and spend time in prayer with Him. I mostly pray for wisdom because His Word says, "If any man lack wisdom let him ask". I find myself making good decisions and I know that is the still small voice that I hear that gives me the wisdom to do the things that make my life easier. I also pray for many friends and family, so if I have told you I am praying for you, I am!
