Why worry when you can pray?

About 1 month ago my 11 year old son injured his leg. After complaining for 3 days I took him to the doctor and found out he broke his tibia, it was a small fracture but extended into his growth plate. The doctor wanted to cast him from the hip down but being summer, hot and preparing for camping I asked the doctor if there were any other alternatives. He then said he could give him a splint and crutches but he would need to adhere to his restrictions and reduce his activity significantly because his fracture exceeded into the growth plate and surgery would follow if healing did not occur properly. It was very hard for AJ to be compliant with his restrictions as it would be for any 11 year old boy. I made this a matter of prayer and put him on the prayer chain at church and just asked God to heal him in spite of not having the cast hip down and being as compliant as he could with his splint and crutches. We went back to the doctor today and so far he needs to wear the splint just 2 more weeks and he can ditch the crutches immediately. We were all so happy, he starts middle school on the 2nd and I was worried he would have to start in a big cast from the hip down. Again I ask, Why worry when you can pray????
